Mike, I was checking out the Tent at Sunfest this year (scouting lens choices for that night's show) when I heard a SMOKIN' Cash/ Carter duet outside. It was you and Statewide on the stage and it was such a good show, I had to stay a little, even though I was runnin' a little late. The blend of covers and originals was a good mix, and made for a great Sunfest afternoon. I eagerly look forward to nexy year, (and may have to drive up to Easton !!) I can only hope that such a fine voice finds a larger audience - SOONER than later !! (Just don't forget us at OCM )

Recently had the pleasure of seeing Mike Short Jr. and his band perform at Sunfest in Ocean City, MD. It was his voice that caught my attention...and they put on an excellent show! So good that we went back to see them again a couple hours later. He is very talented and Im sure will go very far in the music business...who knows, maybe the next Tim Mcgraw?! I recently had the privilege of hearing Mike Short Jr at Essex Days in Essex, MD and I have to say I was blown away; this young man is refreshing, soulful and gritty.
Additionally I got to spend some time talking with him and I can’t say I have ever met a more polite, humble person…a real “class” act. A lot more good things are going to be coming from this fellow.
